Independent Mobility & Rehab

Make a difference every day by helping people maintain their independence.

At Independent Mobility & Rehab (IMR), we believe mobility changes lives. Every product we supply and every conversation we have is about helping people live with greater comfort, confidence and independence.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a **Full-Time Administration Officer** to become an important part of our friendly Broadmeadow team.

If you’re organised, enjoy helping people and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, we’d love to hear from you.

About IMR

Since 2015, IMR has been a trusted provider of mobility and rehabilitation equipment throughout Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, the Hunter, Central Coast and beyond.

We work closely with individuals, families, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, hospitals, aged care providers, the NDIS, Department of Veterans’ Affairs, insurers and healthcare professionals to provide practical solutions that improve everyday life.

Our reputation has been built on personalised service, product knowledge and genuinely caring about the people we support.

About the Role

As our Administration Officer, you’ll be one of the first people our customers meet or speak with. You’ll help keep our office running smoothly while providing a welcoming and professional experience for everyone who contacts IMR.

Every day is different. One moment you may be answering customer enquiries, the next you’re coordinating paperwork, processing orders or supporting our sales and clinical teams.

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, likes solving problems and understands that great administration is about helping both customers and colleagues.

Your Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties may include:

  • Welcoming customers into our showroom
  • Answering phones and responding to email enquiries
  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating service bookings
  • Preparing quotes, invoices and customer documentation
  • Processing orders and liaising with suppliers
  • Assisting with NDIS, DVA and healthcare administration
  • Maintaining accurate customer records
  • General office administration and filing
  • Supporting the wider IMR team as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, approachable and professional
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident using computers and Microsoft Office
  • A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Able to prioritise multiple tasks
  • Reliable and proactive
  • A genuine team player
  • Passionate about providing outstanding customer service

Experience in administration, healthcare, customer service or mobility equipment is highly regarded, but just as important is your attitude and willingness to learn.

Why Join IMR?

When you join IMR, you’re joining a team that genuinely cares about the people we help and the work we do.

You’ll enjoy:

  • A supportive and friendly workplace
  • Meaningful work that makes a positive difference
  • Ongoing learning and development
  • A respected and growing local business
  • The opportunity to work with experienced professionals in the mobility and rehabilitation industry

Most importantly, you’ll finish each day knowing your work has helped improve someone’s quality of life.
